RoHS (Restriction on the Use of Hazardous Material)
RoHS is a Legislation passed by the EU, China, Korea, Australia etc. which restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PDBE in certain products and applications.
Tyco Electronics / AMP NETCONNECT has essentially completed migration of impacted product lines to RoHS compliance as required. The following document provides an overview of the strategy used to implement RoHS compliance in Tyco Electronics.
