AMPTRAC 9th Wire Technlogy
The AMPTRAC - IIMS utilizes a parallel 9th wire in the patch cord to provide solid confirmation of connectivity and disconnects by an open and closed circuit
With the TE Patented 9th wire technology, AMPTRAC patches are automatically discovered and verified by the system.
Quaero CPID Technology
CPID - small integrated circuits, built into the patch cables and sockets, are programmed with physical characteristics during manufacture including End A and End B information. When in use, that information in the patch cable chip is detected and passed to the ICM software e via a CPU in the panel.
